San Sebastian, Spain

Welcome to the cultural capital of the Basque country! You will find some of the best beaches in Europe within a short walk from impressive historical buildings. Enjoy the great views from Mount Igueldo, relax in the Miramar Park, or sample some pinxtos (traditional appetizers) in a cozy cafe.

The School and Language Classes

The language school is located close to the Cristina Enea Park and the district of Egia, which is famous for its coffee shops and tapas bars. The beach is also just ten minutes away. In your classes, you will focus on the practical use of your language skills and learn through hands-on exercises. The standard intensive course includes 20 sessions per week, in groups of up to 12 international students. Classes are usually held from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm, sometimes in the afternoon.

Cultural Activities

You can join activities organized by the language school, such as museum visits, excursions to historical sites, and sports or social events. Some of these activities are free for students, for others you will need to budget extra to cover entrance fees and/or transportation cost.

The Homestay

A homestay with a local family is the best way to gain authentic insights into the everyday life and culture of San Sebastian. Host families come in all shapes and sizes. All homestays include breakfast and dinner.
