Programs for High School Students

High school students can choose from 20 programs in eight countries - Japan, Costa Rica, France, and Spain are just a few of our most popular locations. Many include small-group language classes, cultural activities and excursions.

Application Deadlines:
The deadline for our 2010 homestay programs abroad has passed. We will start accepting applications again in the fall. 

Gap Programs

Gap programs are custom designed for college age students and adults. We work with recent high school graduates who want to find their focus before making the next steps on their educational path. Other participants have already been studying toward their college degree for a few semesters and want to see things from a different perspective. And some are professionals planning a sabbatical to broaden their horizon and refresh their minds. 

Andeo also offers Gap programs designed specifically for educators that feature advanced language classes, university level courses on culture, and sessions on language teaching methodology.

At whatever point in your life you decide to experience the world as you learn another language and learn about yourself, Andeo can work with you to take advantage of the opportunity. Customize a program that combines language study with cultural explorations and/or volunteering. Photography in Italy, wildlife protection in Costa Rica, organic farming in Japan and theater in Germany are just a few of the options! Academic credit is available for all programs.

We work directly with homestay specialists abroad. From our office in Portland, Oregon we work closely with our overseas partners to support the students and families who participate in our programs. Questions are answered promptly and students are supported throughout the application process and homestay experience.

You will never be a number. Our programs are small and our service is personal. We won’t brag about the thousands of students we send abroad, but we are proud of the personalized service and outstanding support we give our participants.
