Photos from Andeo’s July Language and Adventure Program

This month, we have students from France, Spain and Germany in our summer Language and Adventure program. They are taking English language classes on weekday mornings and then enjoy activities and excursions that allow them to experience American culture. Take a look at part 1 and part 2 of our online photo album to see them explore Portland, play laser tag, and hike in the Columbia River Gorge! In the evenings and on weekends, they look forward to spending time with their American host families.

Host a college student from Asia this summer!


	This summer, Andeo will welcome over 200 college students from Japan and China to the Portland area, and your family can host one of them!

Bring the fascinating cultures of Japan and China into your home! All students participate in morning English classes and afternoon activities in the greater Portland area. They use Tri-Met to commute to and from school on weekday, bring their own spending money, and are covered by insurance. Host families receive a small stipend to help cover the cost of extra food and utilities. The students look forward to experiencing U.S. American culture as part of a family!

Summer fun 2010 - Host a teen from France or Spain!

Make a Spanish or French friend this summer! Andeo is looking for welcoming families to host a European teen for 3-4 weeks in July or August! Some of the teens will be participating in classes and activities in downtown Portland and others are free to spend their time with your family going on vacations, going to summer camp or just enjoying the relaxing days of summer! We match families with students based on age, gender and shared interests. Students bring their own spending money and are covered by health insurance.
