So this week we are mostly doing service. We started yesterday with a couple hours in the nearby park with a group called COVI. They take in at-risk kids and have activities planned for them throughout the day. Yesterday we started by cleaning up the grounds. We then got to know some of the kids and played some kid games like Red Rover. Today we went back and started with some soccer, then Monkey in the Middle and finally Do You Love Your Neighbor? The girls are getting to know the kids better and everyone is opening up.

We got done with service and headed to the market for the last time (I think). We got bags and bags of fun stuff to give to our loved ones. Aren´t you excited?! The girls are getting to be quite the bargainers. We have some good stories to tell about riding on really crowded buses. Today we even had a lady that was singing karaoke while we rode and asking for donations. I think we are starting to feel much more comfortable in our surrounding even though everyone still stares at the group of gringos walking down the road.

Two days left before we begin our travel home. Sorry no pictures that last couple of days--I just haven´t got my camera out. I´ll try to get some up tomorrow showing our service and maybe the girls in class. Hope you all are staying cool. The weather here is perfect as long as we are not standing in the sun too long (great temps, but really brutal sun). Chao.
